What will be your daily pursuit?

As the Central Reservations Supervisor, you will be a key point of contact for potential and current guests, ensuring an exceptional experience from the first interaction. You will lead by example, supporting and motivating the reservations team while maintaining high standard of service and operational efficiency.

What will your compensation be?

$22.00/hour plus full benefits!

What will you do in this job?

Guest Interaction & Communication:

  • Respond to high volumes of incoming calls in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Effectively use computerized reservations systems to process bookings, changes, and cancellations in accordance with company policies
  • Handle guest inquiries with accuracy, providing helpful information about accommodations and the surrounding area
  • Monitor and manage the reservations team’s email inbox to ensure prompt, courteous, and thorough replies to all guest communications.

Leadership & Team Support:

  • Supervise and support the Central Reservations team to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Serve as a role model, maintaining a positive attitude and high performance under pressure
  • Assist the Reservations Manager in handling guest concerns or escalated booking issues.
  • Communicate operational updates, new promotions, and procedural changes to the team

Operational Duties:

  • Ensure all reservations from Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) are accurately reflected in the system.
  • Perform regular duties of a Central Reservations Agent as needed, including directing calls and providing local area information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and communication
  • Assist the Reservations Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as required

Travel & Representation:

  • Occasional travel for familiarizations trips to better understand the guest experience and stay current with product offerings.
  • Represent the company and its values during the familiarization trips, industry events, and partner site visits.
  • Build strong relationships with vendor contacts to support ongoing business development

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

The ideal candidate will require the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Superior communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and is motivated to lead a small team
  • One year of front desk/reservations experience is preferred or completion of a hospitality program
  • Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft software, data entry, and typing skills necessary
  • Ability to accept and give direction
  • Must be comfortable working in a seated position for extended periods of tie (up to 8 hours)
  • Must stay calm under pressure by being resilient, adaptable, and flexible
  • Work out of our Anchorage office
