What will be your daily pursuit?

Your daily pursuit is leading our outstanding front of house team and providing our guests with an attentive, welcoming, and satisfying dining experience.

What will you do in this job?

  • Assist in leading the hotel F&B (FOH) program including indoor/outdoor dining & bar, coffee experience, and events
  • Handle guest concerns in a professional manner and take fast and appropriate action to solve problems
  • Follow federal, state and Company policies and regulations for serving alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner
  • Complete nightly reports and review daily food and beverage sales
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef & F&B Manager
  • May be responsible for ordering, receipt and storage of all alcohol and other restaurant & bar inventories & equipment
  • Always have the guest and staff experience in mind
  • Facilitate a positive environment and yes culture
  • Uphold service & presentation standards & expectations
  • Collects currency and keeps an accurate account for control. Gives receipt with every transaction.
  • Is able to assist or take the place of any staff member, if necessary
  • Assists with other responsibilities as requested

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years restaurant, café, bar supervisory experience preferred
  • Restaurant/Hospitality Management degree preferred
  • Familiarity with hospitality POS systems expected
  • Hospitality POS experience desirable
  • Knowledge in kitchen operations, cooking and timing, as well as food, liquor and labor cost controls helpful
  • Demonstrate leadership skills - able to motivate others
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be pleasant, helpful, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers
  • A desire to learn and grow in the F&B world is a must!
  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
  • Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
